Steel Register Grates and Cast Iron Inserts
We offer an extensive range of grates and inserts. Our steel register grates are forged in England and can be made to measure whilst our cast iron inserts are available in various finishes. The options and fuel compatibility are indicated within the details for each model.

I found English Fireplaces on the internet and, as they were fairly local to us, we went down to see them. We had moved to a house with a very modern wood burner set in to the wall and we wanted to find a mantelpiece that would provide a surround and softening to the chimney breast. Tom came to our house and provided a design which was just what we needed. We now have a mantelpiece and slate surround which looks great and we are delighted. Technical Site Survey
To ensure every fireplace is specified and installed correctly, we offer a complimentary site survey as part of our service.
Your survey is carried out by an experienced, qualified installer who will assess the space, confirm dimensions, review installation requirements and ensure the project complies with all relevant regulations. The visit will also enable a clear installation quotation to be prepared and an opportunity to meet the specialist who would oversee the installation, giving confidence that every detail has been considered before work begins.
