I found English Fireplaces on the internet and, as they were fairly local to us, we went down to see them. We had moved to a house with a very modern wood burner set in to the wall and we wanted to find a mantelpiece that would provide a surround and softening to the chimney breast. Tom came to our house and provided a design which was just what we needed. We now have a mantelpiece and slate surround which looks great and we are delighted.
