Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Gallery and choose the fireplace that you wish to buy. Then email English Fireplaces or call us on (International +44) 01730 897600 to make sure that the fireplace you have chosen meets all your requirements.
We accept payment by UK cheque or credit card. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else in the world your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa, Delta, Solo and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via email, phone or snail mail.
Shipping And Handling
All fireplaces come protectively packed in polystyrene and are securely enclosed within a wooden crate to protect against any damage. The crate is then delivered to your door by our specialist logistics company.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver anywhere in mainland UK within 3 days of despatch and all goods are fully insured. The delivery charge for mainland UK is from £70 + vat. (Europe £140.00 ). For deliveries elsewhere in the world please ask us for a quote.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock or you require a Bespoke piece, we will make it for you as a special order. However, special orders take approximately 12 weeks to hand carve and deliver.
Tax Charges
For sales made to the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other international orders are VAT free.
Guarantee
If any of our fireplaces do not satisfy you please return them, within 7 days, in their original condition and in the original packaging for a full refund.
All deliveries from us must be checked and signed for at the time of delivery, please open the crate and check no pieces are broken before signing the delivery note. It is your responsibility not to sign for your delivery until you have checked nothing is broken in the crate. It is very unusual for any of our shipments to get damaged but if this occurs you must sign for the delivery as 'damaged' and notify us immediately. We will endeavour to replace your fireplace within 4 days.
