REGENCY BULLSEYE FIREPLACE
The Regency Bullseye marble fireplace is another reproduction of a timeless classic from the very early 19th century. It is sometimes referred to as the demi lune bullseye due to the gentle curve of the jamb panels. More
One of our Chiswick Fireplaces on display in our London fireplace showroom.
Demilune (demi lune): Crescent-shaped or half-round, as in a demilune table; literally a half moon.
Jamb: One of a pair of vertical posts or pieces, that together form the sides of a portal, which often contains sculptures - in this case the fireplace. The individual columns can also be referred to as jambshafts, which often support an arch or vault. From the Old French jambe for 'pier' or 'sidepost of a door'.
