CROWN (FULL POLISHED)

A grate is defined as a frame of iron bars to hold fuel for an open fire and hob as the top cooking surface on a stove. Thus a hobgrate is a cooking surface on or near an open fire. Before the advent of modern stoves and cookers cooking was done over or beside an open fire.

Nowadays we don't have to rely on an open fire as a means of cooking our food but we can still enjoy the pleasure of sitting by an open fire, burning wood or coal in an attractive fireplace.
