How long does it take from the time I purchase a fireplace to delivery to my door ?
We have large stocks available and can usually deliver anywhere in mainland UK within 3 days. For overseas orders please telephone us if you require exact delivery times. USA approximately 4 weeks, Europe approximately 1 week.
Is there a charge for delivery ?
Our freight carriers charge £70.00 + vat for delivery anywhere in mainland UK. For deliveries elsewhere in the world please telephone us for a quote. USA dockside for collection approximately USD350.00, Europe approximately £140.00 to your door.
Are these fireplaces easy to fit ?
Yes, our fireplaces come in 4 pieces and are part pre-assembled for easy fitting, but we usually recommend that this task is carried out by a professional installer. We are very happy to provide advice if you require it, please call us any time between 9.00am and 5.30pm.
What do I fix the fireplace together with ?
We recommend white gripfill or china clay (plaster of paris) or bathroom tile adhesive, all readily available from your local builders merchant or DIY store.
Can I visit you to see the fireplaces before I buy ?
Yes, we welcome visitors to our showroom in West London 7 days a week but for the other showrooms but please telephone us first to arrange an appointment.
Are these fireplaces Hand Carved from Solid Marble ?
Yes, all our fireplaces are hand carved by our highly skilled master craftsmen from solid blocks of natural marble. We never, ever, use reconstituted materials.
Can I pay by cheque rather than credit card ?
You can telephone or email your order and provide us your credit card details, or send a cheque in the post if you prefer.
Is there a quality guarantee ?
Yes, all our fireplaces are guaranteed to be free from any defects but please bear in mind that all natural materials such as marble will have naturally occurring variation in colour, veining and grain.
Is my Fireplace insured against damage in transit ?
Yes, but all deliveries from us must be checked and signed for at the time of delivery. It is very unusual for any of our shipments to get damaged but if this occurs you must refuse acceptance from the freight company and notify us immediately. We will endeavour to replace your fireplace within 4 days.
I have a special/difficult size or design requirement, can you make me a special order fireplace ?
Yes, we regularly make special order pieces for listed buildings and large or unusual houses. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will provide you a price quote within 48 hours, but please allow approximately 12 weeks for delivery.
